Millenial Lotería

Like board games? Like tacos and beer? If your answer was something along the lines of "DUH", "Yaaaaas", "Ugh, who doesn't" then do we have an event for you..

🤯🙀MILLENNIAL LOTERÍA 🤩🥳

If you've played lotería it's essentially the same! If you haven't please see below. We'll be using a Millennial Lotería set for a modern, satirical twist on traditional Mexican lotería.

For the duration of the games, we will extending our happy hour tacos, two for $5, or get 2 tacos and a beer for $9! Specials are not limited to guests playing games.

We do have limited seating, as the Lotería is only going to be played inside. Seating will be community table style - make sure you get there early with your group!

FAQs:

So like, what is Lotería?

Well you know, there exists a thing called Google but whatever.. Lotería is a traditional Mexican game that has commonly been called "Mexican Bingo", because well, it's played just like bingo. Except with numbered picture cards.

What ages are welcome?

There may be some PG-13 elements and anatomical innuendos specific to Millennial Lotería that might make your mom say "¡Que cochinada ni que nada!". That being said, if you feel fine watching daytime TV, you should be gooooood.

Sooo, do I have to be a millennial to play?

Bring your mom, your gramps, your neighbor whose yard you kicked that ball into and never got it back from; everyone's welcome! Just know they might roast you when they recognize your millennial tendencies.

Is there a cover charge? UGH.

Nah, but in an effort to bring awareness and support to community outreach programs, we will be donating all proceeds to Latino Network, a non-profit working towards positively transforming the lives of Latino youth, families, and communities through education and advocacy. Their diverse programs range from education support, family stability, civic leadership and much more!

It's going to be 🔥FUEGO 🔥fam!

NYE Celebration | El Año Viejo | 21+ Only

  • Xicha Brewing Company (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

We’re throwing a NYE party Ecuatoriano-style. In Ecuador, New Year’s Eve is a special occasion where cultural traditions take place throughout the evening to say goodbye to el año viejo (the old year). Traditionally, el año viejo exists in the form of an effigy doll that is stuffed throughout the night with notes from family/friends on what they’d like to say goodbye to from that year (passing of a family member/bad habits/a political figure). At the stroke of midnight people gather in the square/street/driveway to light the doll on fire as a way to represent the passing of the old year. As our first año viejo, we will be using a “X” piñata to say goodbye to another great year in this awesome community as your local LatinX brewery. As you are all our family/friends, we are inviting you to help us celebrate and say goodbye el año viejo.

Starting at 9 PM we will only allow 21+ guests on premises.
